Back in Burnett!

As I am typing this out I am finally back at my old job in Burnett as a proctor in the Arts and Science Testing Center. I am not going to be a Nazi this year because the one annoying guy who never did his job is gone and I don't have to do his for him now, nor does anyone else working here. Evenings are going to be a lot different now, which is weird. I am used to working with Sean and Tony all the time and now Tony doesn't even work here anymore and I don't think Sean and I have any similar shifts anymore. It's not busy at all right now but I am sure that will pick up next week when kids realize how close the pulldates are. It feels like I never left Burnett, and I have only been on now for the last 8 minutes (It's 4:08 as I type this right now). Of course, the reason it feels like I never left could be the fact that I practically lived here last semester, working 20+ hours each week when we were only supposed to be at 18-20 max. Ah well, I needed the money, and still do. However, student teaching is severely cutting into that.

Speaking of student teaching, today was my first day in the classroom with students, as LPS started today for grades K-9. 10-12 start tomorrow. We had three students not show up, 2 moved and one was just absent. We are getting another student though, so we will be at 17. 17 may not sound like a lot, but anyone who thinks so should come to Mrs. Rangel's room for a few minutes and see just how crowded the schools are. Then people might think a little more about donating more to the schools instead of saying they already give too much. But that's another rant for another time.

Everything else is pretty peachy right now. One of my roommates is being retarded about washing dishes, but hey, it's not my fault he leaves his set for a week or longer. I wash every dish I use, with the exception of one this entire time I have lived in this apartment. I'm not doing anyone elses dishes, we're all big kids and we can do our own and if not, then that's not my problem because I do mine right away because dishes sitting out for a week and a half at a time is disgusting.

Okay, that's really all for now, I can't wait for tomorrow. My day are going to be busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Who wants to be lazy their whole life? Certainly not this girl.
